ENERPAT® Lithium Battery Recycling Line transports lithium batteries into a sealed buffer warehouse through an elevating system and injects nitrogen to reduce the oxygen content to below 5%. Subsequently, the materials are crushed to 30mm within a nitrogen-protected closed system and conveyed to the next process. An online monitoring system continuously tracks the oxygen concentration to ensure compliance with nitrogen protection, thereby achieving active fire prevention. In the event of a fire, the intelligent monitoring system immediately triggers an alarm, shuts down the system, and closes the valves to contain the fire, while the carbon dioxide extinguishing system automatically starts to put out the fire.
Solution Background
With the widespread use of lithium batteries, a large number of discarded lithium batteries are generated. If not properly handled, the harmful substances inside, such as lithium hexafluorophosphate, carbonate organic compounds, and heavy metals like cobalt and copper, can pose a serious threat to the environment. At the same time, the cobalt, lithium, copper, and plastics in these discarded batteries are high-value resources with significant recycling potential. To address these issues, ENERPAT has customized a "Lithium Battery Recycling Line" aimed at both protecting the environment and enhancing economic benefits through scientific and effective treatment methods.
